National Equestrian Championship will start in Mumbai on 29th

 The Equestrian Federation of India (EFI) announced on Friday that the National Equestrian Championship will begin at the Amateur Riders Club at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai from Saturday, January 29.

 The Equestrian Federation of India said that in this scheme only athletes aged 14 years and above will be able to take part in the seven-day competition.

 Athletes from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata will compete in five categories in the annual event.

 Horse riding means riding a horse. In the earlier times, when there was no motorcycle, the horse was used to travel long distances.

 Every year horse riding competition is organized in India and every year the competition is organized in different states.

 This year i.e. 2022 National Equestrian Championship is going to start in Mumbai on 29th.

 The National Equestrian Championship will last for 7 days. Athletes from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata will compete in five categories in this annual competition.
